Cambridge IGCSE is widely recognised by higher education institutions and employers around the world as evidence of academic achievement. Many universities require a combination of Cambridge International A Levels and Cambridge IGCSEs to meet their entry requirements.
Established over 25 years ago, IGCSE is used in schools all over the world. The curriculum is designed to stimulate thinking, and develop multiple skills that students will need in their professional lives.

Most subjects offered at Legae Academy are at Extended Level. This means that students can attain a grade between A* to E in a subject taken at Extended Level. Most students write Cambridge IGCSE final examinations at the end of Form 5, in the October/November session. In special circumstances, students can also opt to write the examinations in the May/June session.
