The students mentioned above show Legae's efforts in providing quality education are not in vain. As early as 1998 the Ministry of Education inspection report of the institution noted: "The school is well poised for efficiency and productivity. The available management structures enable communication and consultation which creates a suitable working environment. The general up-keep of the school also creates a conducive learning environment which is imperative to school of this nature." Ithas been eighteen years since the inception report was issued, and Legae Academy has not disappointed the officers who issued that report.

Such achievements provide evidence of Legae in fostering whole-person development, enhancing life-long learning capabilities and more importantly, nurturing positive values and attitudes towards life and society among students. Students of Legae are able to obtain all-round development in various domains according to their own attributes. The Top in the World Awards fully demonstrate how our students have benefited from striking a balance between archiving academic excellence and develping personal aspirations along the learning journey.

About Legae Academy Botswana

Legae Academy opened its gates in January 1992 with its mission of providing ordinary Batswana with access to world-class Secondary Education at an affordable cost. In keeping with its commitment to provide world class education that meets the competitive demands of the 21st century, the Academy has pioneered the introduction into Botswana of the International General Certificate of Education (IGCSE) and Higher International General Certificate of Education (HIGCSE). Due to the decision made by the Cambridge to phase out HIGCSE and also because of the great demand for the internationally recognized A-Level course, the school introduced A – Level in 2006. A-level course is an entrance qualification for University Education around the world. These two established, University of Cambridge externally monitored, international curricula give students the opportunity to go beyond Botswana’s local examinations standard.
